Place clothes loosely into the dryer and select the cycle. Select an available dryer and clean the lint screen. Select wash cycle and press the button. Front load washers will lock once the machine starts and cannot reopen until wash cycle is complete. NOTE: Do not use more than 2 tablespoons of soap. Load clothes into the washing machine. Add 2 tablespoons of soap and bleach or fabric softener if desired into the drawer at the front of the machine. These machines will operate at no additional cost to you. You must be a campus resident in order to utilize the laundry facilities. Wet/Dry Cleaning Technology: Cleaning service. Laundry services are provided 24/7 in all FSU residence halls. Charges for Pressing Only are 80% of listed valet price. Express 1-day service (same day) – handed in before 9:00am/returned at 5:00pm price is 50% more of listed price, valet or dry cleaning. Regular Next Day Valet Service – handed in before 9:00am/returned at 5:00pm next day. In addition to self-service launderettes, there is valet laundry service on board and is handled through your Stateroom Steward. Carnival Luminosa does not have washers, dryers nor ironing rooms but does offer Valet Laundry service. Carnival Celebration, Carnival Jubilee and Mardi Gras do not have washers and dryers but have ironing rooms on several stateroom decks as well as Valet Laundry service. Self-Service Launderettes are featured on most ships with the exception of the following: 
On the following ships, only coins are accepted to operate the machine change can be obtained at the Guest Service Desk, if needed: Carnival Ecstasy, Carnival Elation and Carnival Paradise.
On most ships, the machines are operated using your Sail & Sign card for payment. For your convenience, if you have not packed your own, each launderette has a vending machine that dispenses small boxes of detergent and water softener at $2.00 USD per box. No longer requiring quarters or ECCash, all washers and dryers are now Freeplay. The cost is $3.50 USD per washer load and $3.50 USD per dryer load. Laundry Services There is a dedicated laundry room in each residence hall. There are 2 or 3 washers, 2 or 3 dryers, and 1 iron and ironing board in each launderette. Self-service launderettes are located on staterooms decks.
